Funny to see this today because I just returned mine yesterday. I thought there were way too many tofu recipes and the terminology was weird — giant white radish instead of daikon, for example. I decided to just pay for the ad-free version of JOC instead. Nami’s recipes have never failed to impress. Anyway, that’s cool that you enjoy it! What are some of your favorite recipes?

Is this book focused on more traditional washoku? I’m always on the lookout for stuff like that. There are not a lot of good English-language sources for washoku.
