For some reason, I thought Nijo Market would be a lot bigger. Even though it’s small, there is so much good food to be had. My top favorites from this market were the kaisendon from Donbe, the squid from Ohiso, and the Yubari melon from the fruit stand.
For the sit down spots like Ohiso and Donbe, I recommend going for breakfast. The big tour groups seem to arrive around lunch time so the wait is a lot longer during that time.
