Here at Studio Waraya, Ryuichi-san keeps his collection of traditional textiles and antiques from all over Japan. Ten years ago, he renovated this 180-year-old kominka house, converting it to his studio. On our visit, he was kind enough to show us some of the works he has on display here, including articles of clothing from Chiba, Hokkaido, and Okinawa.
