In Japan, this snack is called “Tongari Corn.” Was this shape inspired by a snack from overseas?

When you were a kid, did you ever put them on your fingers and play with them? My mom used to get mad at me for it.

They’re just Bugles. They came from the US. Not everything novel came from Japan.

They’re just bugles. I used to eat them in the early 2000s.

The only way to eat these is to put one on the end of each finger – like long claws.

    At least – that’s what I’ve heard.

I just ate these yesterday! I believe they are just rebranded by country and Bugles is the original. I also like Kornets from the Philippines and Kkokkal corn fron Korea which has more variety of flavors.

Eat them with ice cream, they’re like mini ice cream cones but have a lovely savory/sweet combination.

You have to put them on your fingers and act like you’re a witch.

Auto-translate changed “Bugles” to “Buggles”, please note this snack **did not kill the radio star.**

*”Tongari Corn” is a product created through a technical partnership with General Mills, Inc. of the United States.*

*The original form of Tongari Corn was the American snack “Buggles” ( meaning trumpet or horn), which had a triangular hat-like shape.*

I used to love squirting spray “cheese” into them when I was a kid.

I think the name in most of the world is Bugles. In my country, it’s just Cones.
