A Hokkaido Local’s Hiking Trip | Mt. Kurodake, Sounkyo

Hi I’m Yuuka, a Hokkaido local, and this is Episode 2 of my Hokkaido Summer Road Trip series! I spent 2 nights in Sounkyo, a small onsen town inside Japan’s largest national park, Daisetsuzan National Park, and I hiked solo to the summit of Mount Kurodake. I’ll show you exactly what the hike is like and share everything you need to plan your visit.
