
First time I tried okonomiyaki was in 2016 when I traveled to Ōsaka. I fell in love (with japanese food in general also). 10 years later this is the first time i make one. It doesnt have the same feeling or taste but it was pretty good.

Okonomiyaki rocks! Looks pretty decent for a first try, though I’m curious of the purple. Is it made with eggplants…?
Good okonomiyaki sauce is so hard to come by outside Japan. Always loved Oliver Sauce’s Doro sauce but can you even get them in places like North America?
It looks like you used red/purple cabbage. Is that correct?
