ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION released their new song “Skins” digitally on April 3. The track will also be released as a physical single on May 27.

“Skins” serves as the opening theme for the final season of the TV anime ‘Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE,’ which began airing on April 2. The song features a light, driving rhythm and an infectious groove. A music video for the track is also available on YouTube and can be seen below.

Alongside the release, the band launched a special website to commemorate its 30th anniversary, featuring new artist visuals. ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION will kick off its 30th anniversary celebrations with a one-man concert, ’30th Anniversary Special Concert ‘Thirty Revolutions’,’ on April 4 and 5 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.

As a part of the band’s 30th anniversary celebrations, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION will embark on a series of tours across live houses, halls, and arenas from October 2026 through April 2027. The live house tour, titled ‘ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION Tour 2026 ‘Midage Fanclub’,’ will run from October 17 at SENDAI GIGS in Miyagi to November 21 at Zepp Sapporo in Hokkaido, comprising 12 performances. The title marks the 20th anniversary of their third album “Fanclub.”

Following this, the band will hold a hall tour from January 9, 2027, at Omiya Sonic City (Saitama) through March 20 in Okinawa, totaling 21 performances. The anniversary project will conclude with an arena tour in April, with shows scheduled at GLION ARENA KOBE in Hyogo and Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa.

Finally, vocalist and guitarist Masafumi Gotoh will celebrate his 50th birthday with a special event at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo on December 2. Further details regarding the hall tour, arena tour, and birthday event will be announced at a later date.
