Is this plagiarism or just a coincidence !!

Hey everyone, I noticed a similarity between two songs and wanted to get your thoughts.

I was listening to the Korean song “I Hope” by FTISLAND (2009), and when the chorus hit, it sounded weirdly familiar. It took me a bit to figure it out, but then I realized it sounds really similar to a 90s J-pop song, “Aiyori mo Hageshiku” by Favorite Blue (1996).

For me, both the melody and the overall vibe of the chorus feel pretty close. I’m not saying it’s plagiarism or anything, but the similarity was strong enough that I had to stop and replay both parts a few times.
