Mount Hakodate (函館山, Hakodate-yama) is an inactive volcanic mountain in Hakodate, Hokkaidō, Japan. It is known as a “million-dollar night view” . The city’s sparkling lights are framed by the sea on both sides, best viewed at twilight.
