CRAZY Tokyo Street Food in Harajuku, Japan π―π΅
Today Iβm exploring Harajuku β the heart of youth culture in Tokyo, Japan π―π΅.
This colorful district is famous for wild fashion, anime culture, and some of the most unique street food in Tokyo. Instead of only following the long tourist lines, I decided to wander the streets and try some of the foods that really stand out here.
From fresh dorayaki pancakes, to a viral chocolate banana street snack, to one of the strangest drinks Iβve ever triedβ¦ corn soup milk tea. And to finish the day, I found a hidden traditional shop tucked away in a quiet alley serving fresh dango.
Harajuku is chaotic, colorful, and full of surprises β and the food here reflects that perfectly.
If youβre planning a trip to Tokyo, this is one street food experience you shouldnβt miss.
π Foods I Tried in Harajuku
π₯ Fresh Dorayaki (Apple Pie Flavor)
Two soft pancake-style cakes filled with cream and apple pie filling.
π Chocolate Dip Banana (690 Yen / ~$4)
Fresh banana dipped in chocolate and topped with caramel and crunchy toppings.
π½ Corn Soup Milk Tea (~$5)
A strange but surprisingly good mix of milk tea sweetness and savory corn soup.
π‘ Fresh Dango
Chewy rice dumplings covered in sweet soy glaze from a hidden traditional shop.
Harajuku is known for crepes and sweets, but if you explore the side streets youβll discover so many hidden food spots.
