A Japanese-flagged container ship owned by Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has been damaged in the Persian Gulf with no injuries reported.
In a written statement, the company said that One Majesty was found in the early hours of Wednesday to have sustained damage to its stern while anchored in the Persian Gulf, about 97 kilometers from the Strait of Hormuz.
The ship is owned and managed by MOL and is operated by Ocean Network Express (ONE), a consortium partly owned by MOL.
