Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Japan Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber met with the Japanese Prime Minister TAKAICHI Sanae in Tokyo, expanding bilateral ties between the two countries.
Al Jaber gave the Japanese Prime Minister a written note from the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussing the two countries’ cooperation as well as advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Japan and the UAE.
The two sides discussed enhancing the UAE-Japan relations within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as well as the successful conclusion of negotiations towards a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which will create new opportunities across various sectors such as AI, energy and advanced technology.
