⛰️🪻 Winds Across the Hills: Atop Miyama Pass

✨ “Some places don’t speak loudly — they just let the wind do the talking.”

Halfway between Biei and Furano, where the sky seems to fold into the land, Miyama Pass opens like a secret. Not a high mountain pass, not a dramatic cliff — just a gentle crest where your heart slows down, and your breath matches the rhythm of the breeze. 🌾🌬️

In summer, the fields stretch golden and green — sunflowers turning their faces to the light, 🪻lavender lingering in the air, and somewhere nearby, the scent of soil still warm from the sun. ☀️🌿 The Ferris wheel of the Trick Art Museum turns slowly in the distance, a quiet sentinel above the rolling land. 🎡

Up here, the horizon is a full 360 degrees. 🚴‍♂️ Riders stop to sip water and just stare. Drivers pull over, not for photos — but to feel. Couples say nothing, only lean on the railing, eyes fixed on a sky that seems too big to belong to just one country. 💜🌿

There’s not much here, and that’s the point.
Just you, the wind, the fields, and the long slow silence of Hokkaido at its best. 💜
