Planning a Tokyo DIY trip? Here’s our 5-day itinerary—simple, beginner-friendly, and perfect for those who want to explore Tokyo on their own pace without joining expensive packaged tours.

I covered top spots like Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, Asakusa, Odaiba, Ginza, explored Ueno, enjoyed a full-day Mt. Fuji Tour via Klook, and spent a magical day at Tokyo DisneySea. 📅 📌 My Tokyo Itinerary

📍 Day 1 — Arrival + Ueno Walk
• ✈️ Manila (NAIA T3) → Tokyo Narita T2

• 🏨 Check in: Tokyo Ueno Youth Hostel

📍 Day 2 — Full DIY: Shinjuku / Harajuku / Shibuya
• Shinjuku Gyoen
• Omoide Yokocho
• Harajuku Takeshita Street
• Meiji Shrine
• Shibuya Crossing & Hachiko
• Shibuya Sky (optional)

📍 Day 3 — Mt. Fuji Tour + Tokyo Station

• Make sure to arrive early in Narita

• Suica / Pasmo is your best friend
• Trains arrive exactly on time

• Walk a lot—Tokyo is very safe and walkable

o Best for budget → Keisei Access Express
o Fastest → Skyliner

A: Not at all. Signs are clear, trains are efficient, and Google Maps works perfectly.

Q: Do I need a JR Pass?

    Hi Hero! i liked your vlog, first time ko mapanood travel vlod mo. Gusto ko nasiksik siya sa info as guide sa mga first timers sa japan and I'm happy dahil same area yung gusto ko sanang base and same time ng flight and itinerary din sana plan ko. Nagustuhan ko yung may visual ng pagplan ng itinerary na may map pa ng tokyo na may explanation ng paggroup ng puountahang areas per day, baka yun nadin gawin ko hehe tsaka naexplain na agad yung itinerary and expenses and not a separate video pa. What I don't like is it is too long. This could've been a 20 minute video kaso 20 mins na tsaka ka palang nakarating ng japan (the intro could've been condensed to 5 mins) hehe i feel also that your angle in yournintro should be head level, mas okay yun. 😊 nothing against you ha, I like the way you vlog, maymga info ka na sinabi na hindi na sinai ng iba or masadong vague/ in passing lang yung info, and I am fond of watching travel vloggers din kaya nararamdaman ko you'll get more followers pa. Following you on this Japan trip!

    As a travel vlogger, bakit hindi kayo gumagamit ng travel cards like Revolut or Wise? I use Wise when I travel and i don’t worry sa conversion rate and international charges.
