Hello D&D, I would say matcha is like green tea only more enhanced , good stuff. At temples you definitely want to take the Omikuji home so excellent luck or general luck will remain with you, if you draw a bad one , tie it to the provided place there at the temple.
Visiting Nara, cherry blossoms and the temples was one my favorite things to do while in Osaka
