We had been planning this trip for so long, and now… we’re finally here.
Our flight was on January 31, 2026. But before everything began, we were honestly worried. Heavy snowfall had hit Sapporo, and everything we saw on social media made us anxious, trains were being canceled and suspended. It was hard not to overthink.
But there was nothing we could do anymore. We couldn’t turn back.
No matter what happened, we promised ourselves we would make the most out of this trip.
On our first day out exploring, we visited Asari and Otaru and wow… the place was absolutely beautiful. Time flew by without us even noticing, because we were just so happy and in awe of everything around us.
Even though it wasn’t easy for Glen because of his knee condition, we still managed to end the day full of smiles, grateful hearts, and unforgettable memories.
Sometimes, the journey isn’t perfect — but the experience makes it all worth it
