TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT is a new indie game event that started in 2023 in Kichijoji, Musashino City, with the aim of becoming “a place where the talents of various creators, mainly indie games, come together and serve as a catalyst for them to reach the top.

For creators, it is an opportunity to present their own work and interact with users and creators.
For users, it is an opportunity to discover and experience new games and creators.

We have held the event three times in Kichijoji, Musashino City, with the hope that creators, developers, visitors, and the local community will come together to create and nurture new possibilities. The third event, held in March 2025, attracted a total of over 23,000 visitors, creating opportunities for interaction that transcends age, gender, and nationality.

Continuing this trend, we have decided to hold the 4th event in March 2026, aiming to provide a “place for interaction that can only be found here.” Based on your feedback, we will continue to hold the event over two days, with the first day being business day and the second day open to the public, while working to create a more playful environment and continuing to introduce the business matching system from last year. Furthermore, by holding Business Day on a weekday, we will create an environment that is more conducive to those who wish to meet with others.

Continuing from last year, we will deepen our collaboration with the entire Kichijoji area, promote the appeal of indie games in various ways, and cherish the “creator first” philosophy that will satisfy creators. We aim to create an indie game “festival” that everyone can enjoy, and an event that can be enjoyed by creators, developers, and everyone who attends. We look forward to seeing you
in Kichijoji in 2026!

Ahead of the TIGS2026 event, which will be held on March 20th (Friday, national holiday) and 21st (Saturday), TIGS has announced that it will be live streaming the first-ever “TIGS Online Showcase” on Monday, March 16th.

The program will feature Hyakka Ryoran as MC, and will feature a segment introducing selected titles from the exhibit with live playthroughs, as well as a segment revealing indie game trends that can only be seen here, all with the participation of popular guests! The program will deliver three hours packed with the appeal of indie games that indie game fans around the world can enjoy.
