JATA to Continue “Stay on Weekdays!” Campaign in Fiscal 2026

The Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) will continue its “Stay on Weekdays!” campaign in fiscal year 2026.

This initiative, which has been implemented since fiscal year 2024, aims to alleviate congestion and improve customer satisfaction by leveling out travel demand on weekdays, while also expanding overall travel demand.

Customers who purchase trips including weekday accommodation costing at least 10,000 yen per person from JATA member companies will be eligible to enter a lottery to win coupons that can be used for their next trip. The application period is divided into four phases, each lasting three months, starting in April, July, October, and January 2027. In each period, 20 winners will receive travel vouchers worth 30,000 yen and another 20 winners will receive vouchers worth 10,000 yen.
