Created by Tiziana Rocca and in presentation with the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, the Filming Italy Los Angeles festival celebrates Italian cinema and television with a series of film screenings, panels and awards. The programming includes a tribue to Franco Nero and a screening of Paolo Sorrentino’s La Grazia.and television

NBA All-Star Weekend Events — Feb. 12-16

NBA All-Star weekend takes over Los Angeles with three days of events, basketball, music and more. Ludacris headlines the NBA Crossover Concert Series, while Busta Rhymes, Peso Pluma and Normani take the stage for City of Angeles presented by Shoe Palace. Other events around town include Footlocker’s Takeover of L.A. Live; Chase Freedom Cashback Courts at Complex Market; Legends: The National Basketball Retired Players Association’s view party at Silverwood Estate; and the Lids x Jon & Vinny’s pop-up. 

Free Valentine’s Day Matcha at Crèma — Feb. 13

The Sherman Oaks cafe (in partnership with Minor Figures) shows its love early Friday morning with a free Valentine’s Day oat milk matcha giveaway for the first 100 guests. Doors open at 7 a.m.
