If I’m arriving in Osaka and finishing my trip in Tokyo can I use the suica app straight up in Osaka/Kyoto or do I have to have started in Tokyo?

Awesome that it works on apple watch now. I used it in December when I was there.
You forgot to mention that You can get ur green suica with your name printed on it. But You need a japanese phone number to do it.
