🇯🇵Standing yakiniku is something you really have to experience in Japan — eating outside somehow makes everything, including the drinks, cheaper and more fun. The grilled oxtail here is an absolute must-order; it was easily my favorite dish of the night.

This spot sits in Noge, Yokohama’s local drinking district packed with over 600 tiny bars and izakayas. It felt like hanging out in a real neighborhood full of regulars rather than a tourist area. Best part is you can reach it within an hour by train from Tokyo, so it’s an easy food trip.
