The gastronomic review ‘La Stagione’ has kicked off at The St. Regis Hotel in Osaka, which aims to highlight Italian cuisine as a cultural heritage, an expression of quality, tradition and lifestyle care, particularly appreciated in Japan.

‘La Stagione’ will be developed over the course of the year through monthly rotating regional menus, offering a true gastronomic journey through Italy, region by region. The dishes will be reinterpreted by Chef Michiaki Yoshida with respect to Italian tradition, using carefully selected Japanese ingredients, creating a harmonious dialogue between the two culinary cultures. The project, emphasizes the Consulate General of Italy in Osaka, comes at a particularly significant time for bilateral relations, coinciding with the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Japan and in view of the 45th anniversary of the twinning between Milan and Osaka, also nurtured by fruitful cooperation in the agri-food sector.

Through La Stagione, Italian cuisine is thus confirmed as a privileged tool of encounter and cultural exchange, capable of bringing the two countries closer and telling, even at the table, the richness and diversity of Italian territories.
