Lost in Tokyo…. #travel

  1. “Everything that can go wrong, did go wrong”

    – this is absurd – you have a charged device with a working signal, you’re in fine health and in touch with the other guy, and whatever you’re hoping to accomplish had merely been slowed down, not sabotaged in full. So much more could go wrong!

I know it’s a saying, but be careful with that shit – that sort of talk signals to your inner self both a) a weakness to the changing nature of everything around us, and, much more perniciously…

the placing of yourself at the whims of the universe – e.g. ”look at what’s happening to me”, not “look at this change in my journey, which I’ll totally float thru, and maybe even enjoy or learn from!_

every unexpected change is an opportunity. every moment is precious, especially when it’s something to be cherished like (from what I can surmise) a trip to explore one of the most desirable countries on the entire planet with (whom I assume to be) your friend/loved one.

Long weird comment, I know, I know. Maybe (probably) you won’t even see it…

    — but if you or anyone else does, I’d encourage you to take an objective yet empathetic & pensive look at how you describe the world around you and the events you experience in it – it has real power; I don’t mean “crystal woo woo manifestation power”, either, per se… simply the well documented/researched power of the psyche, ego, and the subconscious mind.

edit: oh man, I just read your channel bio too, re: your fight with CF, and your new lease on life… that makes me think my comment might just resonate with you. At a minimum, I think that additional context I’ve just gleaned reinforces my point. You’re a survivor, set yourself up to be a thriver, who swims through life with an elevated perspective. 😊
