48 Hours in Japan’s Canal City | Local Food, Ancient Gardens & Demin Street | Japan Travel Vlog

2 days is enough time to explore Okayama and Kurashiki, and is exactly what we did.

In Okayama, we visit the stunning Korakuen Gardens, one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens, and enjoy breaktaking views and serene landscapes.

Kurashiki, known as Japan’s canal city, is full of charm and history. It’s where denim first became popular in Japan. We’ll stroll through the picturesque Bikan Historical Quarter, admire the once essential canals for transporting good, and soak in the unique vibe of this cultural gem.

Food lovers, you’re in for a treat! We dine at a rustic local restaurant and savor:
🍚 Sea bream on rice with soup stock (a regional delicacy)
🥩 Wild boar meat shabu shabu for an authentic countryside experience

If you’re planning a trip to Japan, this vlog is packed with travel tips, hidden gems, and must-try dishes in Okayama and Kurashiki.
