Just one stop west of Osaka Station (Umeda) lies Fukushimaβthe “Gado-shita” district built directly under the vibrating train tracks of the JR Loop Line.
No selfie sticks. No influencers. Just smoke, loud trains, and the best Horumon (BBQ) in Kansai.
I took the Shinkansen from Tokyo just for this meal.

Love that area, reminds me of Nakameguro and Gakugeidaigaku how the use of space below the trains are curated to the neighborhood. Toronto needs to take notes.
