
Fauchon Hotel Kyoto will hold an Amaou Afternoon Tea and an Amaou Dessert Buffet from January 7 to April 26, 2026.
At “Salon de Thé Fauchon,” the Amaou Afternoon Tea will feature sweets such as Amaou and lime bonbon chocolat and Amaou mousse; savories such as Amaou and tomato soup and smoked salmon tartare with Fukuoka Prefecture mentaiko cream; a mini parfait combining Amaou strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream topped with pink syrup; and two kinds of scones, plain and dried strawberry. Drinks will include a welcome tea brewed with “thousand-year water” drawn from the hotel’s own well using an original recipe, along with Fauchon original teas. The seating is limited to 2 hours. Prices start from 7,000 yen.
At “Grand Café Fauchon,” the Amaou Dessert Buffet will offer desserts such as Amaou roll cake, tart, and Mont Blanc, as well as fresh Amaou strawberries themselves. It is available from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The additional fee is 3,000 yen on top of each lunch menu, and half price for elementary school students. All prices include tax and service charge.
