Singaporean visual kei band MAO.A is pushing further into the international spotlight with the announcement of their first overseas tour. Since debuting in March, the group has made global expansion a priority. Their upcoming tour HAKAI: The Path of Destruction Tour marks a significant step forward, with confirmed dates in both Taiwan and Japan. MAO.A will headline all four shows.
Their upcoming HAKAI: The Path of Destruction Tour takes its name from MAO.A’s debut EP, HAKAI. The tour kicks off in Taipei with two back-to-back shows at Jack’s Studio on December 27 and 28. The first night features a “visual” theme, with MAO.A performing alongside Noroi, The First Front, and Zomnipathy. On the second night, the intensity rises for “metal” night, as MAO.A returns to Jack’s Studio joined by Ring and un avec deux.
After wrapping up in Taiwan, the band heads to Tokyo for two more concerts. They storm the stage at SHIBUYA CYCLONE on January 6 with bands R.O.L.A., Riot Kitties, OLFEUS and Mission Mode 9. On January 8, they will perform at Shinjuku ANTIKNOCK with an extensive lineup. The roster includes NINTH IN PLUTO, HAYANIE, ovEnola, rotpillar, ET, blue edge emotion, and Hourstrange.
Tickets are on sale now. Fans of visual kei will not want to miss MAO.A’s growing international momentum as they take their sound to new stages.
