I Traveled 500 Miles Across Japan in VR With My Wife

All right, Jaycie, you want to tell us where we are
and what we’re doing? At the Takatio George, sorry. Turn. I’m going to beat you. My name is Kim Haskell and
this is my wife Jaycie. Despite my lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis, together we explore
the world, creating travel documentaries, now we’re embarking on a brand new
adventure. We’re taking an epic road trip from Hiroshima down to Kumamoto and back
to create the ultimate documentary project, starting with a 14-part VR series.
Thanks to our friends over at DovR. We’ll start posting the videos next week,
but until then, I want to leave you with this sneak peek at what’s coming up. Welcome
to Atlas Unlimited, the road to Kumamoto. Hello time. It’s really, really cool to be in a place like
this. It’s my favorite era of Japanese history. Oh my gosh, you look hideous. This is so cool. Look at that.
You can see everything from here. Oh, there’s so many First off, I’d like to personally thank DeoVR.
When they heard I was going on this trip, they immediately stepped in and offered to sponsor
it. And without them, the entire VR side of this would not have even been possible. They’ve
released a new version of their app called DeoVR Hyper. It’s a very slick and streamlined
version of it. All of the videos will be the best to watch on that, so I recommend you download
it. In addition to those 14 videos coming to DEOVR, I’ll also be producing a traditional 2D
documentary, which you’ll be able to watch both on DeoVR first and then here on our Atlas
Unlimited YouTube channel. See you along the road.
