Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo Launches ‘Shimaenaga Lunch Winter – Like Afternoon Tea’ Collaboration

Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo will collaborate with the popular Hokkaido character series “Boku, Shimaenaga.” to offer the “Shimaenaga Lunch Winter – Like Afternoon Tea” from December 1 through February 28, 2026.

The menu is designed in white and blue, evoking the winter scenery of Hokkaido, Japan. The special drink features butterfly pea, which changes color when mixed. Savories include a cauliflower and soy milk bavarois, foie gras flan, and a smoked salmon and potato prepared in a ring mold style, with a Shimaenaga bird perched on a poached egg making a strong impression. For the main dishes, guests can choose from three items: a seafood cotriade topped with clam foam, carbonara finished with espuma, and beef tongue stew served in an edible bread bowl. Desserts include mousse made with Hokkaido-produced fromage blanc, a jelly inspired by a snow globe, a cake topped with Shimaenaga dumplings, and a gently wobbling Shimaenaga jelly.

The venue is the 1st-floor Buffet & Party Court “Glass Seasons.” It is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The price is 5,000 yen, including tax and service charge. Reservations are required at least two days in advance. The offer is limited to 20 servings on weekdays and 30 servings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
