Thank you for watching. This channel is mainly for people who love photography and are posting information on outings with the theme of “Places to look forward to on your next holiday,” mainly in the Kansai region . Please subscribe to the channel for the latest outing information. This video is a VLOG of a slightly luxurious and relaxing adult trip to Kyoto for two days and one night. Kyoto has many places that are difficult to access by car, so I will introduce the actual parking and how I got around. I hope that you will use this as a model itinerary for your next trip to Kyoto. Here are the spots on this trip. Here are the spots on this trip. Rather than traveling to various tourist spots, I kept travel to a minimum and spent as much time relaxing in the hotel as possible. All three places are very close to each other. We arrived at our first destination, ROKU KYOTO. We left with plenty of time to spare, but we were worried about traffic on the highway… Parking is free if you use lunch at ROKU The parking lot is a one-minute walk from the KYOTO Hotel and is easy to park in as it faces forward. On the way from the parking lot to the hotel, I found this place! It’s wonderful! I arrived at the main entrance and entered the five-star hotel I’d always dreamed of. All the plants and objects in the hotel exude a sense of luxury. This lounge is also available for day use. The building is beautiful, with a harmony of wood and greenery. If you go further in… there are beautiful gardens everywhere. It’s a wonderful place with a modern, Japanese feel. Even if you’re not staying overnight, you can still enjoy the hotel. It’s a precious time to enjoy the hotel . The weather was nice and the scenery was beautiful. ROKU京都市ランチです。 English: There is an abundance of nature around Kyoto. In early November, the leaves are beginning to change color and are beautiful. The building on the left is the venue where we will have lunch today. I am excited to imagine what kind of lunch it will be. The terrace seats also look pleasant. The building in the back appears to be the hotel where we will be staying. I hope that one day I will be able to stay there… Finally, let’s head to the long-awaited lunch. This is the entrance to “TENJIN”, the lunch venue. I went inside. The spacious restaurant has a great view and a luxurious atmosphere. There were also women there wearing kimonos. It is a great place for birthdays, anniversaries, and surprises. There is a simple dress code for this lunch, but many people came in sneakers etc. I was happy to dress a little nicer than usual for hotel lunch… It’s a luxurious place where you can look at it forever. The lunch course consisted of salad, a main dish to choose from four types, and dessert. Dessert comes with a drink. I ordered pizza and my friend ordered risotto. The lunch price was 5,000 yen including tax. The salad arrived and the salmon and rusks were delicious . This is the main dish, risotto, my friend ordered. The risotto on top was delicious, with a rich miso flavor. My pizza, with a soft-boiled egg and prosciutto, was also excellent. The dessert cart arrived. You could choose your favorite from nine desserts. Being a big eater, I decided to try one of each. The desserts included matcha, acai, and fig. It was great to be able to try a little bit of each. If there was something you didn’t like, you could even have two of the same thing. It was the most luxurious and happy time. The salad and main course weren’t very filling, but we enjoyed the desserts. While this is a luxury hotel that’s usually hard to find , if you’re staying for lunch, you can fully enjoy the hotel atmosphere for just 5,000 yen per person (tax included). (Free parking is also a nice bonus.) The blog in the description section also explains how to make a reservation, which gives you a 500 yen discount per person. Why not visit and spend some quality time with your loved ones? It was a luxurious hotel lunch that satisfied both your heart and your stomach. 3:00 PM Checking in to Hotel Harvest Kyoto Takamine. This hotel is within walking distance of ROKU KYOTO. This hotel also has free parking. I’ll introduce the parking lot at the end of the video. I entered the lobby . The cafe and bar offers snacks, sweets, and cocktails. The main entrance has a lovely large window. The room card keys were stylish. It seems you need to take a slope car from the main building to the south building. Let’s take a ride. The ride took just a few seconds. I apologize for the camera shake, as I was filming with a single-lens reflex camera that day … This trip has inspired me to buy some video equipment! I hope I can deliver shake-free videos on my next outing! (Probably) The room I’ll be staying in this time seems to be in the South Wing. It’s a lovely hotel full of greenery. I arrived at the South Wing and there is a foot bath. I haven’t been walking much on this trip, but it looks like I’ll be able to soothe my travel fatigue. I went into the room. It’s a spacious room with a modern Japanese design. The plan I booked this time is a 2-day, 1-night plan with breakfast and room service. Dinner is not included, but there are many restaurants on the grounds surrounding the large hotel, Shozan Resort. There is only one bathroom, and the loungewear is separate. There is also a pot, cups , refrigerator, and freezer . I left my luggage and went for a walk inside the hotel. This is the main entrance to the South Wing. It’s the season when the greenery and autumn leaves are truly beautiful. As I left the South Wing, I decided to enter Shozan Garden, which is located on the right. The admission fee is 500 yen. 。 English: It was a Saturday evening, but the place was practically empty. Being able to stroll through a beautiful Japanese garden from the hotel empty-handed is one of the best parts of traveling. The green moss in the garden is so beautiful. The video you’re watching now was filmed with a SLR and has not been edited, but it’s such a beautiful green, it ‘s so relaxing… You can stroll around Shozan Garden in about 15 to 20 minutes . Apparently anyone other than hotel guests is also allowed to enter, so if you’re in the area, why not stop by? It’s also nice to rent a kimono and stroll around. Renting a kimono can be a bit of a hassle (lol), but it’s a fun experience that you don’t normally get to have. It’s also fun to think about what color kimono I should wear next. Seeing beautiful couples in their subdued kimonos almost brings me to tears (lol). I’m 40 years old and my tear ducts are starting to break down. Apparently, this place is lit up at night for a limited time, so if you’re in the area, be sure to check it out. It’s almost time for dinner, as we had made a reservation. Let’s head to Wakadori, our dinner venue. Isn’t this road just stunning? As we walked along the lovely forest path, the restaurant came into view. My hands were shaking terribly… sorry, but isn’t the atmosphere a little too nice? It’s a Japanese and chicken restaurant. Even though it was such a lovely restaurant, we made the biggest mistake of all. We had too much dessert at the hotel lunch, so by dinnertime we were still full… Since we had only booked a seat, we decided to order individual dishes from the a la carte menu . Ah… sorry , but everything was surprisingly delicious!! I was starving, and I’d definitely like to go back someday. It was such a wonderful restaurant. After that, I went to the large public bath with an open-air bath and sauna, and my body and mind were warmed up. I was surprised to find that the hair dryer in the changing room was a Refa. Good morning! It’s the morning of the second day. Let’s head to the fun morning. It seems that you can choose from two different venues for breakfast. We came to the buffet-style breakfast venue called “Kamiyagawa”. I was starving. There was an incredible amount of variety just for drinks. Since I’m a big eater, I started with sweets. There was also a wide selection of Japanese food, all of which was exquisitely seasoned. I also love bread . I always go to the buffet three times for Japanese food, Western food, and dessert. I don’t eat much breakfast. 。 English: I’m always impressed by my husband who doesn’t eat much (lol). After a very satisfying breakfast, we went to the convenience store right next door and bought some umeboshi plums, which were really delicious for breakfast, for my friend’s family who went with us . My husband had some snacks and pickles to go with his drinks. Now that we’re full, we decided to go for a morning stroll. The air was clear and it was a very pleasant morning. Early November is neither hot nor cold, so you don’t need a thick coat, making it the perfect season for traveling. Let’s go explore the facilities of Shozan Resort. What a lovely road – this appears to be a Chinese restaurant. There are so many restaurants, so it looks like you can enjoy yourself no matter how many times you stay. Following this road, we arrived at ROKU KYOTO, where we had lunch yesterday. It’s such a happy time to stroll around with just a camera and a smartphone. At the hotel I’d always wanted to stay at, there were people swimming in the pool. There’s still a little more to this lovely stroll to do. Greenery is truly soothing to the soul. This place was so beautiful! Sometimes in life, painful, sad, and unreasonable things happen, so I think it’s important to take a trip like this every once in a while to indulge a little and cheer up your soul . For those who can’t go right now for various reasons, I hope this video can soothe even a little. It’s almost time to check out, so I’ll say goodbye to this wonderful hotel full of photo spots and move on to the next location. Oh, and about the parking lot I mentioned at the beginning. There are three parking lots within the hotel, and the one closest to the main hotel building is a covered parking lot. It’s spacious enough that you can park there easily. It was a cheap two-day, one-night trip to Kyoto. The final stop was Daitokuji Temple, about a 10-minute drive from Hotel Harvest Kyoto Takamine. Daitokuji Temple has over 20 sub-temples, including a national treasure, a hojo (headquarters), gardens, and many temples and temples designated as important cultural properties. We used the paid parking lot at the entrance to Daitokuji Temple. We walked around for about an hour, and the fee was 400 yen on a Sunday morning. Let’s go inside. Entering Daitokuji Temple itself is free, but admission fees are required for each of the over 20 sub-temples. While we were walking around, I discussed with my friend where to go . Due to budget constraints, we only visited one temple, but with so many sub-temples scattered throughout the spacious grounds, I felt it was a place that couldn’t be seen all in one visit. It’s a place that you’ll want to visit in all different seasons. After much deliberation with my friend, we decided on a place called “Kourin-in Temple.” The admission fee was 800 yen. There was a small window overlooking a beautiful garden, making it a perfect spot for taking photos . When we went inside, it wasn’t crowded, even though it was a Sunday, and we were able to take a leisurely tour . It was a luxurious adult holiday . As we went to the room on the right, we found a photogenic spot. The trees in the garden were projected onto the table. Our two-day, one-night adult trip flew by. We enjoyed delicious food and soothing scenery with our special someone. It was a luxurious and happy two days. I wonder where I should go on my next trip… I need to find something new to enjoy! I’ll be sharing discount booking information for this Kyoto trip and more on the blog linked in the description. In my next VLOG, I went to one of Kyoto’s “views I want to see before I die” spots… I’ll share my solo trip with my new videography equipment . I hope to see you again on my next trip ! Thank you for reading until the end!
