Naomi Osaka is making the most of her tennis off-season. She recently flaunted her toned physique in vacation pictures, wearing a bedazzled dress, a lace ensemble, and more.

Osaka concluded her 2025 tennis season after competing at the Japan Women’s Open. She began her campaign by defeating compatriot Wakana Sonobe and the defending champion Suzan Lamens in the first two rounds. In the quarterfinals, the four-time Grand Slam champion was set to face Jaqueline Cristian but had to withdraw due to a left thigh injury she sustained during her second-round match, marking an early end to her season.

Naomi Osaka To Begin 2026 Season at United Cup

Osaka was set to kick off her 2026 season at the ASB Classic, where she was the runner-up in 2025. However, she has withdrawn from the WTA 250 hard-court tournament and will instead represent Japan in the United Cup in Australia.

Next year will mark Team Japan’s debut at the United Cup. In addition to Osaka, the Japanese team will consist of two male players — Shintaro Mochizuki and Yasutaka Uchiyama — and another female player, Nao Hibino.

The 2026 United Cup is scheduled to take place from January 2 to January 11, 2026, and the matches will be held at the RAC Arena in Perth and the Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney. Team Japan has been placed in Group E, alongside Team Great Britain and Team Greece, and their matches will be held in Perth.

Other teams participating at the RAC Arena include the defending champions, Team USA, as well as Spain and Argentina in Group A, and Italy, France, and Switzerland in Group C.

The Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney will host matches for Group B, consisting of Canada, Belgium, and China; Group D, which includes the host nation Australia, Norway, and the Czech Republic; and Group F, consisting of the former champions Germany, France, and Poland.
