I Found a Secret Restaurant in Japan That Doesn’t Even Have a Sign

I was invited to a Japanese restaurant where only locals can go. So, this restaurant is located in Kyoto’s famous Ponto district. And while most places here cater mainly to tourists, my Japanese friends took me to a truly unique spot. Unfortunately, tourists can’t get in because it’s a familyrun restaurant with an older staff and they simply do not speak English. So, taking orders and serving guests properly, it is very, very difficult for them. So, the place itself is super tiny. There are only about five tables here. The food here is the best I’ve tasted during my entire months traveling through the whole Japan. So, if you happen to have a Japanese friend in Kota who can bring you to the secret locals only gem, make sure to dine

Just in case you have a Japanese friend or can speak Japanese, be sure to visit this authentic restaurant in Kyoto ‡️
