【与論島ホテルレビュー】ヨロン島ビレッジはどう？静けさ・朝食・夕食・立地を５０代目線で正直に評価
I’m currently traveling on Yoron Island. I’m on my way to my hotel for the night. The hotel I’m staying at is Yoron Island Village, the filming location for the movie “Megane.” The hotel is a five-minute drive from Chakin, the center of Yoron Island, and about a ten-minute drive from Yoron Airport. I’m looking forward to seeing what this hotel is like. Arrived. It has a resort feel. It’s bigger than I imagined. I wonder where the parking lot is . First, let’s go check in. I ‘ll head to the front desk. This is the restaurant, “Tara.” The interior is spacious. I go to get my luggage from my car. This is the hotel building. There’s also a pension building . There’s a dog! So cute! (^^) I was told to park my car around here. That’s the pension building over there. It was also the filming location for the movie “Megane.” Let’s take a look. It’s surrounded by beautiful subtropical flowers and lush plants. The nameplate is nice, too! (^^) There are tropical trees growing here. The pension building is visible on the right. Is this it? The movie plays in my head. There’s almost no film set left. There’s a table and chairs here now. The desk is definitely different from the one used in filming. It looks like the main character will appear from here. From the other side, too. I saw the movie quite a while ago. The images are coming back to me. I’ll watch it again when I get home. I head to my room. There’s a cafe . This is “AZUL CAFE.” I see on the blackboard that reservations are required. The gardens around here are amazing. This staircase leads to the hotel building. The hotel building has rooms on the second and third floors. There are six Japanese-Western style rooms and eight Western-style rooms. Today’s room is this: Twin room in the hotel building. It’s 33 square meters. The room was simple and stylish. It’s spacious at 33 square meters. I think the ceiling is higher than a normal hotel room. The only lighting is a stylish light fixture. Since there’s nothing else, it may be dark at night. The air conditioning is individual and can be adjusted to your liking. The view from this room was amazing. Opening the curtains revealed an ocean view. Let’s go out onto the terrace. All rooms in the hotel building have ocean views. There was a table and chairs on the terrace. Let’s take a closer look at the room. Introducing the facilities. Returning to the entrance, I’ll introduce the room in more detail. The entrance looked like this. There was a shoehorn. There were also indoor slippers. In one corner of the room, there was a cabinet. On top was a telephone. There were mugs, instant drinks, and a kettle. Below that was a refrigerator. The refrigerator was empty. Opposite it were a towel rack, hangers, and deodorizing spray. There was also an air purifier with a humidifier. The TV was wall-mounted and could receive terrestrial digital broadcasts. The Wi-Fi speed was 9.0Mbps. There was a stylish table and chairs by the window. It was modern and stylish. And on the wall, there were hangers for hanging clothes. Tissues were stored in the bag. Introducing the bed. The bed size was 120cm wide and 195cm long. It was spacious at 120cm wide . There was nightwear on the bed. When I spread it out, it was a one-piece dress. It was a generous size. The pillow was reversible, with a pipe and cotton lining. The comforter looked like this. The bed had a nice cushion. There was a table between the beds. The lighting was stylish. The AC power outlet was here. Introducing the bathroom. This room had a unit bath. The sink area looked like this. Face towels and bath towels were provided. Facial cleanser, hand soap, cups, body towels, and a toothbrush set were provided . There was a hair dryer. The bathtub was standard size and deep . The shampoos were made by Pola. The hand shower was like this. The toilet was a shower toilet and clean. Its functions were as follows. I left the hotel and went for a walk. There was a coin laundry next to my room, but it cost money. There were also vending machines. Is he sleeping? I’ve uploaded a separate video of this. Please take a look if you’re interested. I’m back at the hotel. This time I’m using the JAL Pack Surprise Option. I think I can get dinner for about half the usual price. Let’s go. I could see the sunset from here too. I’m ready! This is like an appetizer or a starter. This time, the menu is mainly local cuisine. Here’s the drink menu. I decided on beer. Many of the dishes were slightly adapted from local cuisine. All had a gentle flavor. The sashimi was whitebait tuna and flathead horse mackerel. The whitebait tuna was chewy and light with little fat. The island tofu was delicious. It had a texture similar to jimami tofu. Then came the cartilage tonkotsu. The cartilage itself wasn’t “crunchy” but rather “soft and fluffy.” The sweet and rich seasoning was delicious. The grilled Spanish mackerel arrived! It was thick and filling. Seasoned with just the right amount of salt. It was fatty and very delicious. The sweet soy sauce was also nice. Then came rice and miso soup. The rice was served in a rice container and there was plenty of it. Finally, we were served “Petit Muchcha,” a Yoron specialty. It’s a traditional mugwort rice cake, with plenty of mugwort mixed in. It was a very satisfying dinner (^^). We returned to our room. Before that, we decided to take a look at the starry sky. You can see quite a few stars with the naked eye, but you can’t see them in the video… Suddenly, our dog started barking. I was wondering what was going on, when at that exact moment, there was an earthquake on Akusekijima. I’m going to bed now. Good morning! The weather is nice again today (^^). I’m off to breakfast now. The venue was Tara, just like yesterday. It’s quite a large portion when all the food is lined up . A variety of delicious-looking side dishes for breakfast. There was also mozuku soba. And then there was rice. The elaborate side dishes were delicious . The seasoning made it a perfect match for rice. There was natto and miso soup. The breakfast consisted of standard menu items plus local dishes. What is mozuku soba? It’s a noodle made by kneading raw mozuku seaweed into wheat flour. It’s known for its high nutritional value. It was a delicious morning. We returned to our room and prepared to check out. This was our last chance to see this view. Finally, we said goodbye to our dog. What did you think? The inn’s charm was its quiet, calm atmosphere. The room was simple, clean, and spacious. The window offered a view of the tropical blue sky and greenery. It was so quiet that we woke up to the chirping of birds. There was a nostalgic, warm, and remote island feel. This hotel was perfect for both a sightseeing base and a relaxing stay.
