Exploring Hiroshima – Oppenheimer’s Legacy
I take the Shinkansen from Kobe to Hiroshima to visit the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Dome (one of the only buildings left standing after the Atomic “Little Boy” was dropped on the city in August 1945. Marking the beginning of the end of the 2nd World War.
We explore the park and then visit the museum where there are way too many graphic images to show on here. The personal eye witness accounts are deeply moving.
