LEGO Art returns to Japan with 31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape, an absolutely stunning piece of art that celebrates Springtime in Japan, through the lens of the Ukiyo-e movement.

This 1,892-piece model pays homage to the colours, textures and iconic Japanese symbolism to translate the beauty of Springtime in Japan into LEGO Art that you can decorate your home with.

31218 Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape will be released on 1 January 2026, and will be available from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store.

This model is absolutely stunning and clever, weaving gorgeous springtime colours into a 3D brick-built artwork. Through forced perspective, you’re treated to very important Japanese symbols – Mount Fuji, a teahouse, a bridge, a waterfall, flying Japanese cranes, and cherry blossom, ‘Sango-Kaku’ maple and Japanese umbrella pine trees, housed within a shadowbox frame that provides depth.

Japan has a very special place in my heart, and is a destination that I keep going back to, and I’ve had the privilege of being there in Spring in time for the cherry blossoms, and it’s an absolutely beautiful place.

The LEGO Art Hokusai The Great Wave set is also one of my favourites from the LEGO Art theme, and this will go so well with it!
