I Found The BEST Budget Hotel in Osaka at Holiday Inn Namba: Japan Travel Guide

What’s up, guys? Welcome to another vlog. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Okay, here’s my room, guys. So, in this video, I’m traveling from Kyoto to Osaka. So, I’m going to take the Shinkansen from here. I’m about to check out my hotel. I’m currently staying here at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kyoto. But again, I’m about to check out and then go to Osaka. All right, let’s go. Bye, Kyoto. By the way, guys, if you didn’t watch my previous vlog, this is my hotel room view. All right, I’ll see you guys at the train station. [Music] by the way. Guys, this is outside my hotel. Waiting for the cab now. My friend Ivan is here. We’re going to Osaka together. Our cab is here. We missed the Kyoto Tower. Is it Kyoto Tower? We weren’t able to go there. So that’s another reason for me to come back to Kyoto. Made it to the Kyoto station. Let’s go. Shinkansen tracks. That’s what we’re taking. Also, if you’re taking the cab, make sure you tell the cab you want to go to Kyoto Shinkansen station because the Shinkansen station is different than the regular Kyoto station. So, make sure you just follow the signs, guys. See, it says for Shinosaka, that’s where you need to go. Oh my god, we have to take the stairs. Wait, we have time. Let’s take the elevator. Thank god, guys. The sign goes this way. It looks like I thought I was going to take the elevator going up with all my luggage. Thank god there is an escalator over here. Got the goods. Got the goods. I’ll show you what I got later when I get to my hotel. So, we’re supposed to take the Hicari 513. So, we’re a little early. Our shinkansen time is 3:43 which is over there. Can you see that red sign? 15:43. So it’s a little too early. So I’m going to come back a little later. This is our train guys. So, car number 14, make sure you check that. And then seat number 20D. We made it to our shrinken. Perfect body in the shallow blue. Drifting faster than they should. Golden hour painted dream like you. Even dreams start fading too. Made it to Osaka station. Huh? I’m around the corner from you. Okay. We’re supposed to transfer to Namba station, but I didn’t want to do that because I didn’t want to take any more stairs. And plus, it’s really, really hot. So, we’re going to exit now and take the cab. It’s really close. It’s like 5 10 minutes away. Also, make sure you don’t lose this ticket because this is the ticket that you use to get out. Okay, we’re finally out of Asaka station and this is the line to get the cab. [Music] All right, guys. Just made it to my hotel, the Holiday Inn here in Namba. This is what it looks like outside. I’m going to show you a room tour later. I’m a 7 minute walk from here. All right, D. I’ll see you later, bro. All right, this is the front entrance. I need to use the restroom so bad. Let me use the restroom first and then Oh, there’s a Wagu place inside my hotel. Maybe I’ll go check that out. So, from the front entrance, the elevator is this way and then there’s a restroom over there. And again, like I mentioned earlier, there’s a Wagu restaurant here. Let’s go check in. 49, right? Since I’m a platinum member, I was wondering, are you able to upgrade me to a big better room? Okay, guys. I just checked in. Now, let’s go to the room. I’m at room 513. Here’s my room, guys. 513. [Music] Oh, hey guys. You’re actually there waiting for me, bro. What’s up, guys? So, finally made it here in my room. I am pretty tired today. Although the train ride was pretty short. It only took us about maybe 10 15 minutes from Kyoto station to Osaka station. We took Uber from Osaka station to Holiday Inn here in Namba. So yeah, I love my room. It’s actually pretty spacious. Of all the rooms I’ve stayed here in Japan, this is the biggest, actually. And they upgraded me. They gave me two beds, which is even better. My friend is staying really close here. He said 7 minutes away. Let’s go check out his room later. I’m going to show you that just like how I showed you his room in Kyoto and also in Tokyo. So yeah, let’s do a room tour. All right, guys. So let’s start here. Sorry, the lighting is not too good because I’m using my GoPro. Maybe we can open this door for a little bit lighting. Okay, I can’t do that. Uh, so this is the front entrance. So, when you walk in to your right, there’s this little I don’t know what you call this, little cabinet or I don’t know, a little something. So, this is where your safe is. I guess that’s where you can put your shoes. You know what? I’m really surprised they don’t have an indoor slippers here. And then this is your closet. Let’s see what’s here. Okay, that’s where uh that’s for your luggage. We got some hangers over here. And then what is this? You know what? I don’t know what this is to be honest. If you know what this is, comment down below. All right. Well, here you go, guys. There’s your slippers. And we have an ironing board. I don’t know where the iron is, though. Maybe this one. Yeah, this is the iron. I’m not going to open that, but I’m pretty sure that’s the iron. And then on this side, this is the bathroom. Let’s see. Wow, that’s pretty big. This is a pretty decent size bathroom for Japan. So, obviously, since we’re in Japan, we have a really nice toilet with bedet. And then over here, we have a bigger bathtub also compared to the one in Tokyo. And then we have a hair dryer over here. What do we have here? Toothbrush. Two glasses there. And I noticed IHG Hotel, they use this brand, Dove. I’m not sure if they partnered with them. And then there’s your shower. And also you can open this and then you can have a view of your beds. All right, let’s go this way. So this is your fridge. It’s empty. And then let’s see what’s over here. We have a kettle. And there’s an ice container over here. And then two cups over there. And then let’s see what we have here. Got some coffee, tea, and whatnot. And then there’s a big area here where you can store your luggage. And then again, since I’m a member here, they upgraded me to two beds. Looks pretty nice and very spacious. This is really spacious for Japan. And then you have your nice big screen TV over here. You have your desk over there where you can work if you need to. There’s an extra chair there where you can lounge. And then, unfortunately, I don’t have a view. My view is crap. Look at that. But so far, I’m pretty happy. I like this room. I can actually move around compared to the other two rooms where I stayed during this trip. All right, that’s it for the room tour. Oh, yeah. Let me show you. They actually they gave me two drink coupons. I can use this at the bar somewhere upstairs. To be honest with you, I don’t know where the bar is. I think upstairs or downstairs. I only saw a restaurant downstairs, so it’s probably somewhere. All right, guys. I’m going to take a little rest because I’m a little exhausted from the travel and the heat. So, yeah, I’m going to take a quick nap maybe and then I’m going to go out later and show you guys my first impressions of Osaka. All right, guys. I forgot to show you this. They gave me this at the front desk. What is this? Ultra hard wax. What is this? natural moisturizer, natural skin lotion, natural cleansing wash, and also two free water bottles. Also, guys, I got these from Yodo. They’re all matcha. Hopefully, they’re good. Okay, let’s do a quick haul. To be honest with you, I really don’t know if they’re good, but it looks nice, so that’s why I got them. Look, what is this? It looks like mochi matcha. So guys, there’s actually more here that I didn’t see earlier. So they have cotton set, a shaver, and shower cap and a comb. I’m actually naturally getting ready. Here’s the fit. [Music] So, there’s microwaves over there if you need to warm up your food and also money exchange. The name of the restaurant, it’s called Barquet Restaurant and Bar. It’s right in my hotel. And I can also use the drink voucher that I got. It looks fancy though. Not sure if I can afford to wag you in there. Yeah, this is what it looks like outside, guys. By the way, guys, my hotel is just right over there. See that blue sign right behind it? And you’re already here. Look, this is where you put your luggage. This is my luggage. That’s your luggage. Your locker. It happened to turn out to be my birthday locker. Did it date so it was meant to be? Did it spot? Oh, this is better. Welcome to my crew. Turn on the light. Nice do they? It’s nice laundry showers. Wait, what is this? The common area. This one has more room. Huh? Like this one has more stuff. You can steal. Amazing, guys. That’s the name of the capsule. Acro capsule.
