A Former Love Hotel Turned Into an All Inclusive Hotel in Japan | Juni Hotel Fukuoka
Hi! We are on our way from Tokyo to Fukuoka, the gateway to Kyushu, about a two hour flight Today we are staying at an all inclusive hotel, and the building actually used to be a love hotel Today’s in flight bento is the Kiyoken shumai bento Kiyoken’s shumai bento is so good. I love this one Love hotels are places where couples can spend time together in private, away from other people Recently, as regulations and people’s needs have changed, many places have been renovated into different kinds of hotels I am excited to see what an all inclusive hotel that used to be a love hotel will be like The free shuttle car has come to pick us up in the airport parking lot It takes about ten minutes by car to the hotel You could walk, but since we are traveling with a lot of luggage, the free shuttle is really helpful Oh, this must be the building We arrived in no time The outside is made to protect privacy, and it still has some of its old love hotel look Being available for both overnight stays and day use is another part that still feels like a love hotel There are only 12 rooms, and the hotel is called Juni Hotel, meaning “Twelve Hotel.” I heard that each room is based on a different month of the year and has its own design Wow It looks stylish The lobby feels calm, almost like a cafe So many books Even Gundam is watching over us This lounge is open 24 hours and you can read the books freely I like photo books like this There is a coffee machine here, so it is nice to read while drinking a coffee A staff member checks us in and shows us to our room > > Staff: This lounge is for staying guests only > > Staff: Soft drinks, alcohol, meals, and snacks are all complimentary >> Staff: You are allowed to use the wine cellar, so please help yourselves at any time All 12 rooms are on the second and third floors, and there is no elevator, only stairs This is our room for tonight I looked up the room name Tsurubami and learned that it is an old Japanese word for acorn The entrance is flat with no steps like this Time to change into slippers Oh… this is… These are the really soft, lucky slippers We put our luggage on the hanger rack and head inside As soon as we walk in, we are greeted by a gold wall and two beds The beds are big and feel very spacious In front of the beds, there is a TV and a dressing table with a mirror The room continues on this side There is a kitchen It is a proper, well equipped kitchen Hmm… what is over here…? This is the living area There is a sofa and another large television here This room also has a terrace On the left side there is a covered space for relaxing On the right there is a real sauna and a big bathtub Every room has a private sauna, and this one is a barrel sauna It is very spacious It can heat up to almost ninety degrees Celsius It is a little cold outside today It looks like the drinks and things are around the kitchen area Let us check them out Of course everything is free I guess the Aquarius and Dodekamin are meant for after the sauna There is a commercial ice maker that helps chill drinks and make the cold bath icy This is a regular freezer Oh everyone, look, we have Haagen Dazs! Yes! The electric kettle is by Balmuda The toaster and microwave are also by Balmuda There is even plastic wrap Some hotels have capsule coffee machines, but it is rare to have this many choices Plenty of glasses, dishes, and cutlery are prepared You can bring your own food here I found another fridge Oh, it is a wine cellar And it is free too Now it is time to relax The large L shaped sofa is very comfortable A huge stink bug came over to the sauna area earlier I hope it went somewhere with the rain… At this point all we can do is watch sumo and eat Haagen Dazs Huh… this door here… We somehow never opened it There is a clean washroom with a large mirror The amenities each come in their own box, which feels luxurious There is both a hairbrush and a separate comb They have many extra amenities like this, which feels like a small reminder of its love hotel past The skin care set also looks nice I am glad they have cleansing products I wonder if you can change the shower head There are two kinds of hair dryer And a hair iron Bath salts There are three kinds of aroma oil for the sauna The pajamas are a two piece top and bottom style The toilet is simple, clean, and has a lock The bathroom walls have a unique look Of course there is a proper shower The shampoo and other products are from a French brand We are starting to get hungry Let us bring some food up from the lounge You can go in and out of the hotel freely during your stay The lounge on the first floor is only for staying guests, not for day use guests Sometimes it gets pretty busy, from what I have seen But it seems the food and drinks are refilled often There are many kinds of frozen food It feels like shopping at a supermarket When you see ice cream you just want to take some There are cup noodles too We will take some snacks back with us There is so much. We cannot decide Since it is free, we just keep adding more to our tray There is already plenty of alcohol in the room, but the lounge has even more kinds Kyushu lemon craft chu hai, it looks good Of course there are many kinds of soft drinks too Local drinks like these make me happy Our room includes unlimited drinks from this wine cellar as well It is an amazing amount, like they want us to drink a lot. haha OK, it’s time to cook Pizza Curry pilaf I am curious. What kind of frozen foods do you have in your country? In Japan, because of our bento culture, supermarkets sell bite sized frozen foods and even dessert items like taiyaki Dinner is ready, cheers To be honest, as we ate, it started to feel lonely having only frozen food in a city known for great food If you are here on a trip, it might be better to enjoy a proper dinner outside The food here works well as late night snacks It also works if you come with friends and enjoy it like a home party The rain has stopped, so time for the sauna “No sauna use after drinking.” Oh no, I already broke that rule. I drank quite a bit So I will fill the bath instead… wish me luck not to drown Here you can see a trace of the love hotel days A colorful jacuzzi!! Some kitchen smells drift in because the kitchen is right next to the bedroom, and it is noticeable The beds are quite firm It is very helpful that there are many chargers and extension cords Good night Good morning We can choose from many capsule coffees I have no idea which is which, so I just chose my favorite color I thought about drinking it outside But it seems it rained quite a lot while we were sleeping The frozen bread we brought from the lounge is very good It tastes like a hotel breakfast buffet I was happy to see small packs of vegetable juice and soy milk too With a hair iron ready and a big mirror There are little love hotel touches left, like how easy it is to get ready in the morning The room rate for this stay was 57,200 yen (370.05 USD / € 317.87) per room Checking out is easy with the touch screen at the entrance There were many international guests. It might be a good spot if you use Fukuoka Airport Thank you for watching until the end If you like, check out our other videos too See you next time

空港からの送迎有りで
サウナ好き、ワイン飲める人からしたらいいのかも。
It still feels like an intimate hotel.
My favourite sumo wrestler used to be Cheonafugi* The Wolf 🐺 *sorry for the misspelling 😊
Interesant…
This hotel looks really good and I was thinking to stay there the next time we are in Fukuoka. But its quite expensive, and its not a ryokan and doesnt have an onsen. So we will probably stay in a cheaper normal hotel, and eat outside of the hotel. And spend this kind of money, when we stay in a ryokan instead.
I guess, I we were staying only for one night, I would totally go for it. Because I like the concept and the sauna, and the lounge. And it would be fun to "shop" in the lounge and than cook dinner in the room, and enjoy it with some wine. But as we will probably stay for 3 nights, it would be too expensive, and changing accommodation after one night is not great either.
So good 👍👍👍
Thank you for sharing this interesting hotel concept. We´ve been to Fukuoka in April 2025 and really think the city has a lot to offer!
We highly recommend going out for dinner in Fukuoka! There is lots to see f.e. the Yatai culture. Taking a walk at night along the Naka River is really beautiful or visit the Canal City or Ramen Stadium and lots more! 😊
Visit The Spoon パフェ専門店 Parfait speciality shop for really good parfait! 😋
THERE ARE NO AUTOMATIC SUBS….!..WHY?
Now you have me thinking about what frozen foods I can buy…
Barramundi, salmon, hoki
Meat pies
Lots of vegetables and fruits
Pizzas (cheese and spinach is my favourite)
Lots of individual meal options
I have never seen a hotel with this much self service free amenities in my entire life..way too much that you cannot try all that wine and coffee in one night…
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your travels with us! By the way, those sauna scents are a brand from Finland. I'm a quarter Finnish, and grew up with Finnish items and culture. I hope you enjoyed the sauna? The birch scent is lovely.
Интересный конечно ребрендинг отеля любви, если тот по ряду причин теряет актуальность. Винная комната эта наверное главное украшение отеля!
I don’t understand why you refer to the amenities as free. You are paying for them in the cost of your room so they are not free they are included.
I love your movies is so cute 💓🌸🌸
🐰🐰 Thanks for sharing!!
Дякую за фільм 🎉🎉🎉
I'm in the States – not only do we have our frozen foods – we have everyone else's. I can literally go down the street and get frozen gimbap. We got everything here.
感謝thanks 🎉😊
That airplane food is the best looking airplane food I've ever seen.
God the nail tapping is so annoying
I loved this hotel, very original!!🥰😉
My multilingual brain crashed at the concept of the rooms being different months of the year, as 'juni' means the month June in Dutch.
Wow I can't get over how many coffee capsules (and choice!) there are :O
"FUK" is an unfortunate abbreviation for an airport.
Haha I just arrived in Fukuoka for the first time yesterday and now I see this video😂😂😂
A hotel room with a kitchen takes the stress out of traveling with food allergies. Loved this video!
A former love hotel turned into an All inclusive hot love hotel ! 🥰🔥😊
When I saw you were visiting Fukuoka I was hoping you might also eat at a Yatai, oh well 😊
I like the gundam
love the so many coffee capsules options ❤❤❤❤
My and my boyfriend love your videos. We watched another creator recently who also does travelog videos, but who missed out on all the restaurants and just had some ramen at some point. And then, the next video you upload, you're eating (good-quality) frozen food in a ??former?? love hotel, hehe! Guess dining easy is in the air. This does look absolutely lovely, though. I wanna sear a steak in that kitchen… but I always wanna make steak.
Is there a September room?
😮 looks fancy! Unique concept with that „shop“
Thank you for sharing
Greetings from germany
It seems the owners of this hotel like dark colors for some of the walls. I can't understand if it's black, or dark grey or other dark color.
I feel depression with dark colors and especially black ! I like bright colors.
항상 잠들기 전에 시청함. 잘 보고 있습니다.
очень любопытное место!
Love that lounge with the have anything you want rule. But it is all inclusive. However, what keeps people from taking things home or wasting food?
This is a lovely hotel. It's completely safe to show your faces, many YouTubers do, and are respected as everyone.
Interesting. It looked very comfortable. I agree with you, the snacks are fine, but I would want to eat out somewhere rather than frozen dinner. So many bottles of wine and spirits !!
wow, this is such a nice hotel. they really do live up to lux standards. iʻve never seen so many things included with your stay
This hotel seems like an excellent deal for travelers who prefer nightlife and sunset scenes. If a person wanted to stay during the day, and booked thru the night as well, would they then be able to access the lounge? (I'm considering a trip that features nighttime events, like fireworks, clubs, and night tours.)
This would be an excellent "home base" for a first-time traveller, though – other than that soya milk, what you ate was ALL STARCHES – no proteins! I'd get sick, QUICK! Re: the cooking smells – was there no fan to the outside?
I am amazed at the facilities – so the "bath" outside, was only a cold plunge pool, for after the sauna? Still, a lovely, private space.
Happy to see another travel vid from you. I must have missed some of your other, recent vids… Thanks, Cheers, and Happy Travels!
