(Credit: X) Indian shooter Dhanush Srikanth made headlines by clinching the prestigious gold medal in the men’s air rifle event at the Deaflympics held in Tokyo on Sunday, signifying India’s inaugural medal achievement in this competitive event.Not only did Srikanth secure the top podium position, but he also set a remarkable new Deaf Final World Record with an impressive score of 252.2 points.In addition to Srikanth’s outstanding performance, another Indian competitor, Mohammed Murtaza Vania, also shone brightly by winning the silver medal with a commendable final score of 250.1. Meanwhile, Korea’s Baek Seunghak rounded out the podium by taking home the bronze medal after achieving a score of 223.6.
