2025 AUGUST 21, the load test of the Huajiang Canyon Bridge, the world’s tallest bridge, undertaken by the Bridge Group under the Guizhou Communications Investment Group, was officially launched, ushering in the “critical test” before the opening of the bridge. On August 24, the Huajiang Canyon Bridge ushered in the second level of static load test of 48 35-ton three-axle trucks . On the morning of August 25, the Huajiang Canyon Bridge ushered in the last stage of the static load test, with 96 test trucks loading. The vehicles were divided into five groups, driving symmetrically from both ends of the bridge and stopping at the center line of the bridge. The test fleet entered the bridge in batches in the order of 24 vehicles โ†’ 48 vehicles โ†’ 72 vehicles โ†’ 84 vehicles โ†’ 96 vehicles. Each truck was 35 tons, and the final load-bearing capacity of the bridge reached about 3,360 tons. In this way, the test personnel simulated a large-scale traffic jam and tested the stress, strain, deflection, displacement, cable tension, etc. of the key parts of each system of the bridge after being loaded. At about 5 pm on August 25, the static load test readings of 96 vehicles were completed. After a preliminary analysis of the load test data, the Huajiang Gorge Bridge was in an elastic working state under the test load, and all test indicators responded normally. After 5 days of intensive and orderly testing, the load test of the Huajiang Gorge Bridge was successfully completed, taking a key step towards the goal of opening to traffic End of SEPTEMBER 2025

Huajiang Canyon Bridge is a high-speed passage in Guizhou Province , China. It is located above the Huajiang Grand Canyon Scenic Area , a national 3A-level scenic spot, in Huajiang Town , Guanling Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City , Guizhou Province ,

The bridge deck is 625 meters above the water surface, with a total length of 2,890 meters and a main span of 1,420 meters. The main bridge is a single-span steel truss suspension bridge with a span of 1,420 meters .
