I came to Munkwang Reservoir, a dreamy place with ginkgo trees and morning mist, to find inspiration for my paintings. I’ve always wanted to visit this place, and the scenery is truly beautiful, just as rumored. The wind-blown fog and yellow ginkgo trees create a dreamy and special atmosphere. I love the feeling of the small fishing spots scattered here and there and the submerged tree branches. It was worth the early rush to get here this morning at Munkwang Reservoir. I’m going to a nearby campsite to enjoy this fall even more. OkHee had a fun morning walk in a nice spot. Seeing the trees in vibrant colors, I can feel the deepening of fall even more. It’s the first clear autumn day in a while, so I’m even more excited about today’s camping trip. I’ll quickly set up my cabin truck, which matches this fall perfectly. Actually, I was even more excited for this trip because the truck was remodeled. What exactly changed? This is the bed☺️ I guess OkHee likes the newly installed bed too. Suddenly, I wondered why I hadn’t tried to decorate such a pretty car more. I think I neglected this space because I was so busy with the fast-moving time. Just like when I first prepared with such excitement, I’m going to fill this place with my own emotions. I think OkHee likes the cozy new rug too. Now that we have a bed, I’m going to try using the center area that I haven’t been able to utilize before. I installed the decorative corner brackets upside down by mistake. 😅 (Before) (After) I came here without much expectation, thinking it would be near the Munkwang Reservoir, but the scenery is truly beautiful. It’s so short, I already miss the beautiful autumn. Supporting the shelf I cut down for the wood-burning stove was surprisingly simple. Actually, I didn’t need a big sink. I like the small, cozy feeling of the attic above my room when I was a child. It’s time to start the kerosene heater. The temperature dropped rapidly as the sun set. Now that the truck has a bed, I can spend some comfortable time with OkHee on a soft, comfortable surface without having to lay down a mat. (Sweet Potato) Now, shall we wash our hands and prepare the meal? I’ll get OkHee’s food first, since she’s hungry. It’s so cute and funny how OkHee came downstairs, thinking it was her food. When OkHee is happy, I’m happy too. Today’s menu is home-cooked rice. (onion) (chives) (enoki mushroom) Kimchi stew, rolled omelets, pink sausage, shredded squid… these are the basic yet best home-cooked meals. (kimchi) I like kimchi stew with tuna better than kimchi stew with pork. I make a delicious soup with minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper powder. (tofu) The special thing about my omelet is that it’s loaded with vegetables. Scallions, carrots, onions, chives, enoki mushrooms, eggs… It’s practically a healthy meal☺️ It’s thick enough to eat on its own. Just grill up those nostalgic pink sausages and the meal is ready. It looks so delicious, my stomach is already rumbling. Why do I laugh when I eat something delicious? It’s a pleasure to have a simple drink with this meal. I heard Starlight Chungha’s sparkling soju tastes good. It’s a shame it’s in a paper cup, but I forgot to bring a soju glass, so there’s nothing I can do. It seems like the perfect drink for someone like me who can’t handle strong alcohol. It was a warm, filling, and very satisfying meal. I’m relieving my boredom with OkHee’s favorite paper cup toy. I’m going to enjoy some leisure time by drinking warm tea and watching my favorite YouTube videos. I should go to bed now to prepare for tomorrow. I’m curious about what it’ll be like to sleep in this new bed for the first time. It’s a morning when thick fog covers the world. It definitely felt much more comfortable and relaxing to be higher off the floor. OkHee took over my pillow, though. (Hotcake mix) I’m planning to make some egg bread for breakfast using the pancake mix. (milk) The batter should be smooth and flowing. I used too many eggs in the omelet yesterday, so I only have one left. Wow, it turned out so well, golden brown. It cleans up the mess. This is my favorite marshmallow hot chocolate. OkHee is going crazy again with the delicious smell. I’m going to mix OkHee’s favorite sweet potatoes with her dog food for her meal. It’s a time when even my mind is at peace with the tranquil scenery. Now, I’m going to draw the Mun-gwang Reservoir I visited yesterday. There are so many beautiful places in Korea during autumn, so I have to get moving quickly. I think I’ll probably continue traveling and camping until winter comes. Car camping is banned in many places these days, so it’s an inevitable choice. What do you enjoy most, subscribers? I realized this again while remodeling my truck interior. I like cute things like this, wood, and comfort. It felt like a new turning point in my somewhat exhausted travels. It was just a change of bed from a sink, but it awakened my sense of purpose. Why did I build this truck, and why am I on this journey? I want to give my subscribers a happy time in this space filled with my own uniqueness.
