For those who love a good deal, flights between Vancouver and Japan are at a staggeringly low price right now. If you’ve been itching to travel, then heading over to Asia might be the move with just how amazing these flight costs are.

Travelling To Japan

Japan is one of Canada’s more popular travel destinations. Just in 2024, approximately 580,000 Canadians flew overseas to visit the country– a record-breaking high.

Not only is Japan considered an extremely safe place to travel, but it also boasts a number of different experiences depending on what the traveller is looking for. Want city life vibes? Check out Tokyo, and stay in places like Shinjuku or Shibuya for some awesome bars and clubbing scenes. More interested in history? Check out Kyoto and its rich timeline as Japan’s previous capital, filled with tons of ancient streets and traditional buildings.

Whether you’re looking for nightlife, nature, or delicious food, Japan really does have it all. And with the Canadian dollar currently being stronger than the Japanese yen, now’s a great time to book that flight.

Flights From Vancouver To Japan

While Japan itself isn’t too expensive to travel around– transit is fairly priced, food is cheap, and even hotels can be very affordable if you’re looking in the right places– it’s flying there that’s the pricey part. Luckily, fall is one of the cheaper times to go to Japan. Additionally, kids are in school and the weather isn’t boiling hot (or freezing cold), making it a prime time for you to hop on a plane to head on over.

ZIPAIR is currently offering tickets at $361 one-way from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Narita International Airport (NRT). This is an amazing deal that doesn’t come that often, considering that other one-way tickets from airlines like Air Canada and Japan Airlines are around $800 to $700.

These prices were found through Google Flights from mid November to early December. While ZIPAIR is technically a budget airline, it’s a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, so you’re in good hands with them.

It’s better to get those tickets earlier rather than later, so what are you waiting for? Book that trip and see those sights!
