MAKE it four straight wins for Dwight Ramos and the Levanga Hokkaido as they swept their weekend series against the Shiga Lakes in the 2025-26 Japan B.League season at Hokkai Kitayell.
Hokkaido took the 95-83 win on Saturday with Ramos contributing nine points, three assists, two blocks, a rebound, and a steal, before following it up with a 108-99 victory on Sunday, this time with the Gilas star firing 11 points, seven assists, three boards, two steals, and one block.
That helped Hokkaido rise to an 11-4 record, good for fifth in the league.
AJ Edu’s Gunma Crane Thunders also stretched their win streak to five after beating Akita Northern Happinets on the road at CNA Arena Akita.
Gunma first scored the 81-48 blowout on Saturday where Edu dialled in on defense with his seven rebounds and three blocks to go with his two points and one assist, before the Crane Thunders followed up with a 76-55 triumph on Sunday where he had 10 points, seven boards, three blocks, one assist, and one steal.

That allowed Gunma to move up the standings at 9-6.
Osaka Evessa also rebounded with an 83-81 escape against the Saga Ballooners on Sunday at Saga Arena with Ray Parks chipping in 11 points, two rebounds, and one assist to rise to a 6-9 card.
That was a big bounce back from the Evessa’s 87-82 setback on Saturday where Parks tallied 11 points, two rebounds, and two assists.
Kiefer Ravena’s Yokohama B-Corsairs also redeemed themselves with a 107-94 conquest of Toyama Grouses at Yokohama International Pool on Sunday with the.Pinoy import notching eight points, two rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
That win avenged their 89-86 stunner on Saturday where Ravena had 12 points, six assists, three rebounds, and one steal for Yokohama and improved the B-Corsairs’ record to 5-10.
Francis Lopez’ Fighting Eagles Nagoya also split their weekend series against Koshigaya Alphas at Nagoya City Nakamura Sports Center, taking the 85-69 victory on Saturday where the former University of the Philippines forward claimed 11 points, six rebounds, two steals, an assist, and a block.

However, Nagoya could not make it two in a row with an 82-64 loss on Sunday as Lopez only got four points and seven rebounds. The Fighting Eagles are now 5-10 overall.
