The first HYPER JAPAN Manchester is happening on 14-16 November 2025 at Manchester Central.

After 15 years of success in London, the event brings an unforgettable weekend full of Japanese culture to the north.

Visitors can experience authentic Japanese culture; perfect for those looking for a fun autumn outing in the city

From renowned Japanese companies like FujiFilm and Bandai Namco to independent artists and creators, more than 180 exhibitors will proudly present products from Japan, Japanese-inspired gifts and handmade creations — perfect for Christmas shopping.

Visitors can explore limited-edition anime goods, authentic figures imported from Japan, and try their luck at the famous gachapon capsule machines and there will be  free access to Japanese manga from three leading Japanese publishers: Shueisha, Tokuma Shoten, and Kadokawa Corporation.

You can say hello to Sanrio’s beloved icon and snap a photo at the themed wall and immerse yourself in a VTuber digital concert experience.

There is plenty of food to try-Enjoy favourites like ramen, yakisoba, and takoyaki, along with karaage, onigiri, mochi, and matcha-infused sweets.

The main stage welcomes Yoh Kamiyama — A singer, songwriter, and composer whose genre-blending pop sound and anime themes like Horimiya and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War have earned him widespread acclaim.
