The perfect slow evening solo traveling in Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵
Here’s how to spend the perfect evening alone in Osaka, Japan. Welcome to another episode of 40 by 40, where I take you along on my journey to visit 40 countries before turning 40. Today, we’re in country number one, Japan. After being in Tokyo for a week with a super packed schedule, I decided I was going to take it a little more easy here in Osaka to live the city more than just explore it. I stayed in a more local area here in Osaka, just like I did in Tokyo. And honestly, I can’t recommend it enough. So, after about a 40-minute commute, I made it to Chu Ward and stopped by Family Mart, one of Japan’s elite convenience stores. And when I say elite, I mean it. I grabbed a salad, a dessert, some fruit, and headed off to Osaka Castle. When I arrived, I honestly was in awe. The architecture, the history, the atmosphere. You can go inside for a small fee, but most people told me it’s best enjoyed from the outside. I found an open table with a perfect view, unpacked my little Family Mart picnic, and watched the sunset over Osaka Castle. Oh my gosh, that’s good. Wo! It was a perfect slow evening. Peaceful, simple, and so needed. If you’re going to Osaka, take a day to slow down and just take it all in. I’ll see you in the next

Hey if you go back to the Tokyo area consider visiting the Mikasa its the last of its kind of pre dreadnought battleships!
Slow days are soooo needed especially while traveling ( just to soak it all up ) 😊
