Countries with THE MOST vacation days

Four countries in Europe with the most annual leave days. In at number fourth is a country with so many vacation days. Scrolling through flights to everywhere should be the national sport. With 39 days of annual leave, it’s official that Estonia is the best Baltic country that’s booked. Third is a nation known for being extremely organized. In a number two is a country you can fly to for less than £30. 41 holidays every year makes the UK allowance look pathetic. Maybe it’s time to think about a permanent move to Malta. 39 since when. 35 is usually max. 28 minimum per year. So technically you can have minimum 4 weeks of vacation throughout year. 35 is if you have good job.
And if you're lucky you work as a stewardess on ship then you get 2 weeks work, 2 weeks off schedule plus 35 vacation days. So basically you work half a year together and then from that half a year you get 35 vacation days. Hard work.

  3. Hummm… I wonder how they count this. I mean, here in Spain we have our 31 days of vacation, that's about standard, though some jobs (because of the "law" that rules those jobs, so to speak, called "convenios") may have one or more extra days. These "laws" may add some days to take care of your "own matters" (usually administration related). But then, there are 14 days of holidays spread throughout the year, 10 being at national level (such as Christmas), so everybody gets those (unless you're required to work because of your job and it's your turn such as doctors, etc.) 2 are at regional level (each region has their own 2 days, though some regions may have a day in common) and the last 2 are at local (council) level.

The thing is though, you may get your holidays and have one or more of those 14 extra days in them, so you kind of "lose them".

  4. Four of the smallest and least affluent countries in Europe have better conditions for their inhabitants than super power USA. Social democracy beats capitalism.
