Saw this post where folks in the comments were talking about how Nishiki Market is always jam-packed these days. But as with any tourist hotspot, if you get there early enough, you can see it sans people… I was on my way to Osaka for a daytrip and realized that I could swing through the market before I caught my train. Most of the shops were closed, but I saw a few of them getting set up and getting ready to go about their day. I snagged some donuts at Koe Donuts, which was one of the few places open for business.
