A popular DMV chain is getting ready to roll into a new Germantown location. Kusshi Sushi already has several regional storefronts, but is preparing to make its Montgomery County debut, continuing its steady growth, reports local media outlet MoCo Show.

Kusshi Sushi will be moving into the space at 19833 Century Boulevard that previously housed Zane Japanese Eatery, ensuring locals will still be able to enjoy that particular cuisine. It is not yet clear precisely when Germantown diners will be able to stop into the restaurant for a sushi boat or bowl of ramen, however a representative was kind enough to confirm to What Now DC that leadership intends to renovate and open as soon as possible. We will update readers as more information becomes available.

During the interim, Kusshi fans and the Kusshi curious can stop into one of the chain’s eight other locations spread across the DMV.

Kusshi Sushi opened its first location in Bethesda in 2018. The restaurant quickly became a hit, owing to its expansive menu. Kusshi has an option for every taste; in addition to a long list of specialty rolls, the restaurant serves ramen and udon noodles, alongside an extensive ala carte selection.
