The Japan Foundation will host the 4th Asian Philanthropy Conference on Thursday, 4 December, 2025, in a face-to-face format at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay.

This year’s conference will explore the theme ‘The role of philanthropy in an uncertain world.’ Amid today’s rapidly changing global landscape, marked by widening inequality, deepening social divisions, and increasingly complex social challenges, the fourth iteration of the conference will examine how philanthropy can take on roles and responsibilities that governments and corporations may struggle to fulfill, responding flexibly and swiftly to emerging needs.

With the aim of building a more inclusive and sustainable future for Asia, the event will bring together diverse voices and expertise from across countries and sectors to foster collaboration through dialogue and co-creation.
