ROADTRIP in JAPAN | Kumano Kodo, Mount Fuji, Wakayama

Hello. Long time no see. I haven’t gone for a long time. I hope you didn’t miss me. I miss you though, if I may say so. So, first of all, if you want to see any videos for me, have any questions or anything, let me know in the comments. So, uh this is part two of my road trip with my sister or boyfriend. If you want, you can check out part one, but if not, I’m going to tell you anyway what’s happened. So, we stopped in Kyoto Uji. It’s like the matcha capital. Everything is with matcha stores. And then we drive from Kyoto to Wakayama. This video starts with us arriving in Wakayama. Got it. Got it. Okay. There was a surprise waiting for us in our new Airbnb since there was not any Wi-Fi and the kitchen was horrendous. There was nothing, no plates, no big forks, no big spoons, nothing, not even like a big pan. And we only bought food that needs to be cooked for the for the next days. So, we were kind of [ __ ] But the food was good. This is the room. We don’t even have thick futons. Really, really thin ones. And there’s Coco sleeping. Since we didn’t have any Wi-Fi, we decided to drive to the nearest McDonald’s because they always have Wi-Fi and me and my sister’s boyfriend really needed to get some work done. So, we bought some fries even though we were not hungry so we could sit down and edit. Good morning. Today I was on my own. I went to the central city in Wakayama to get some thrifting done cuz I really wanted to visit all the local hard ops cuz I was looking for a DJ controller and all the ones in Tokyo were like kind of expensive. So I thought if I’m already in the countryside probably I can find one cheaper. I didn’t have any luck in the first heard of. So, I decided to visit the second one. But I did buy this shirt though. If you want to see it, check out my Instagram. Is that I found one. I even wanted one from Tractor. So, this was perfect. The price was a little bit too expensive, so I was contemplating, but I did end up getting it. And they did not have a plastic bag that was big enough, so I had to carry it like that. But I was happy. It’s so dark you cannot even see me. And I’m running late, so they have to wait for me. But then we are going to Hamadushi and we can celebrate my purchase with Bangkok. Happy birthday. seeds. These stands with mandarins and lemons were so common here in this area that we and they were so cheap. It was like 100 or 200 yen for like six or seven mandarins. So, we bought one at every stand we saw, every time we stopped the car and then got some insurance. Here you can see my sister planning our route cuz we will hike a small part of the Kumano Cordo. It’s a ancient pilgrimage trail and it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage thingy. So, it is quite special and was very interesting. I’m sorry. I’m going to help you. We hide for quite some time, but honestly, collecting those stamps is what kept me going. So much fun. So much fun. Really? So basically this is the entire trail and we only walked this small part and it took us about 5 hours there and back. The next day, we drove with the car from here to here cuz we wanted to hike another part of the trail to see this shrine. It’s called Kuman Nashi Tisha. I finally gave in and bought a Kushino. It’s a book where you collect stamps at every shrine you go. And I already visited so many shrines, but I’ve never collected the stamps. So, I saw this beautiful book and I decided to get it this time. Yeah. And the shrine we came for was under construction. But at least they gave us a picture. What the [ __ ] We have a hotel room for one night. All for myself. Even my own bathroom. Wait. Yes. TV. And most importantly, a desk. For our last day, we came to Yamanashi to see Mount Fuji. Love
