[Music] They say they might refuse entry. It feels very similar to India. [Music] Oh my , how many years has it been? Come to work, come up, come up. Oh , brother , give me one. What? Oh no, my friend, my friend. Hello, I’ll come up. You’re putting it like this. It’s been a while. Oh, do it on the spot. Salted. Yes, byeolraeum . Oh, good. Yes, the taste has improved . I don’t have any picky eaters. I didn’t know what to do either. My dream of becoming a teacher wasn’t that big. But now, I’ve had a hard time. During that time, I became a teacher, and while I was a teacher, I became certain. This isn’t the path for me. It’s fun. It’s fun, it’s fun, but [Music] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It’s Mujogos, but there’s no Mujoski or [Music] like that. You eat it. I ate it. It’s mine. Yeah. Oh, is that so? It didn’t work out. Let’s have a drink. Salted. Salu. Oh, come to think of it, how do you cut your hair? I need a haircut. My hair was originally from Pakistan, so I saw the danger. Oh , so 6th grade is 7 euros, yeah, but if you just roughly cut it and move it, it’s expensive there, 18 euros, completely straight. The mart here seems to be Chinese, but there are really a lot of these. Oh, I heard there are a lot of Spanish people. Oh, there are really a lot of Chinese people. I played soccer this morning and came back. Oh, I would be so happy if there was something like that. I want to play soccer. Oh, it’s so good. Okay. Touch it. Oh, it’s okay. But there’s no footsare. I have to report this because there’s no footsare. I’ll go and be back. Kim la primera? [music] Hey, it’s big. Hey, how much is Nanui 180 ? [music] You’re getting the soccer a and soccer popa telei wa from 1909. Sí, DNS characha DNS success. Goal [music] The fence is now gray [music] Wow , Familia, I’m going to get a haircut now. So don’t come in there. I’ll get a cool haircut first. Miss , you’re scared. You’re going crazy. Why are you so nervous? It’s because I’m here. I don’t know. I’ll say yes. Ah, Kim, yes. Oh, okay. [Music] If your bangs are too short, oh, okay. MC, okay, I see. Okay. Oreo [Music] Messi between Ronando, oh, the back of your head is a bit too tight. Yeah, it’s nice because the sides and back are cool. I feel like I’ve become Chinese, but it’s really cool. [ Music] [Music] Yeah. Why, come on. I ‘ll bring you some ssammu ssam. Can I get a ssammu refill? Okay, okay, okay . The window is the same, but the service is good, so I’ll sneak it. Hmm. Kimchi-dong is not that different from our country’s kimchi. It’s really delicious. It’s really danggu-ina . Wow, my friends put their eggs in it. Wow, daebak. Actually, I was going to come and give it a rave review. If it didn’t taste good, I’d just say it wasn’t tasty, but it’s delicious. When Yesung comes, I’ll sneak some. If he doesn’t eat, I’ll eat mine. I’ll go quickly. When will we see each other again? I don’t know. I’ll go. Ah, I’ll go after receiving help like this. I should also work hard to be a person who helps others when they need it. Enjoy the meal. The best. Today is the day I leave Spain and head to Venezuela. I’m a little worried. Venezuela, according to its Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ travel safety rankings, has so many criminals and a poor economy that they’ve even announced a ban on leaving the country. Honestly, I’m a little more nervous and anxious than India. But it’s a place where people live, and I thought I’d be okay if I didn’t go to too dangerous places, so I decided to go to Venezuela. Actually, I was looking into various options for traveling to South America, but most of them were expensive. Okay, I have to take that. [Applause] I don’t need an exit ticket from Venezuela, do I? I haven’t, so I’m a little worried. Okay. I sent my fingerprints for the exit ticket. But they might refuse entry. So I think I should go. I checked quickly. [Music] Ah, I made it in. Thank goodness I made it in. Ah , I didn’t pre-register for the official visa. My drinks and home cleansing products were over the limit and things like that were taken away, but thankfully, they arrived safely. First, I’ll buy an outbound ticket for my Venezuelan departure. Oh, thank goodness. I’m in the middle seat. My lips are perfectly aligned. Oh, they were really trying to get all the information they could . Rather than focusing on the outbound ticket, they were more interested in when I was going to Korea and asked for my ticket to Korea . I told them about myself. I told them I wasn’t a regular traveler and hadn’t made a reservation yet . The staff chatted for a while and then just sent me on my way to immigration . So, it was all done. Since my passport was taking so long, the people who handled my luggage greeted me warmly as soon as I stepped out . I was really nervous, but I guess I didn’t have to be. Everyone else was so friendly and welcoming with smiles . Seeing them remind me that life is all the same. It feels good. Things seem to be going smoothly. And it’s times like these that I need to pull myself together. There’s always something bad when something good happens. Let’s go. [Music] It’s simple. There’s a TV and air conditioning, but it’s just a little bit smelly. Yeah, it’s okay. I’ll rest for a bit. I’ll rest and see you tomorrow. Hello. The owner of Air BMB is here today and he’s showing me around. It’s located in Avila Avila Ala Avila. Wow, they open all the doors and windows like this. It’s really tight. 40% bacon. Oh, really? What? People just leave and close their apartment. It’s easier. You just close your apartment. So that was the west and this is the east. M the university which are those yellow and red a little bit of blue. Ah yeah that’s the university city. So those are those over there are losanch. [Music] Today, I’m going to walk around downtown Lacas. Google Maps doesn’t really show how to get here, so I asked the owner of Air B for directions. It would be easier to take the subway, but the elevation is… You said it would be difficult, so I’ll give it a try. President Belemon is exactly like that former president. Oh, it’s listed like this. You have to go from Belomonte to Daartro. But you can just take a ticket. It’s Bertro. Oh, they said it’s okay to take it without one. I’ll just go for now. Wow, but there are so few people? It’s scary. There are a lot of people sleeping like this. It’s the same in front too . Try it. It seems pretty good. Of course, there’s no air conditioning. It’s so hot, so it’s similar to Line 1 in Korea. Seeing people like this and all. Oh, that’s right, I’m filled with emotion. People here go upstairs and there’s no ticket inspector here. Oh, it looks like you can buy tickets like this. Eight. Then, if I go and see something that looks delicious, I’ll give it a try. Wow, they sell old-fashioned emoticons here . They even sell hats. Wow. But wait. How do I get there? Yes. Coming here, it felt like India. The smell of exhaust fumes was incredible. It feels very similar to India. India. Hey, there’s a picture of President Nicolás Maduro hanging right here . Um. This is Bolivar Square. I heard that this is where they often make political announcements and such. Actually, I was quite scared coming here. It’s notorious for being the city with the highest murder rate. So I was really scared, but it’s better than I thought. There are a lot of people walking around with their phones, and it seems okay so far. So far, it’s amazing. Yeah. Seeing people resting here makes me think it’s the same as Europe. The atmosphere itself is more like everyone else, [music] Let’s see the prices a while ago. A medium size is $3. Well, the visuals are similar to potatoes and salad, and it’s delicious . Oh , Gracis, this is just pork. The meat is a bit like soy sauce pork belly, right? It’s expensive. The potatoes are [music] like a movie martingale. They have drinks here. They also have a lot of Kobe and things like that. Excellent perfecto amor. The drama “Core de sura ” came all the way here. “Oh, it’s empty here . Sorry , please let me eat. ” [Music] “He always asks if I have that serra.” ” Yes, okay. ” “No, no, no.” “Ada , afrasi .” “Okay, okay.” “Okay, I ate.” “I paid 330 bolívares, or 3 dollars.” Actually, even 3 dollars isn’t cheap, compared to the salaries here. “Now , let me talk about the Venezuelan economy. It’s a hot topic these days. Our country is becoming Venezuela.” I’m not interested in politics, so I’ll just talk about the Venezuelan economy. First of all, Venezuela was an incredibly wealthy country in the 1950s, around the mid-20th century, ranking 4th in GDP. That’s because it has the largest deposits of limestone in the world. As a result, in the mid-20th century, it acquired a 5-day money team and became incredibly wealthy, ranking 4th in GDP . But at the time, the politicians corporatized the oil companies, focusing solely on their own interests and not sharing the oil money with the people. The rich were living better, while the poor continued to struggle, exacerbating the polarization of wealth. That’s why, I believe, wealth polarization was extremely severe around the 1970s. Ultimately, a military man named Hugo Chávez, a famous figure in Korea, staged a coup d’état. Despite the coup’s failure, Hugo Chávez was ultimately re-elected. What did he do after his election? He implemented excessive populist policies. For example, he provided free education, hospitals, and other things like that. But instead of diversifying their industries with the overflowing oil money , he simply continued to appropriate it to fund certain political schemes designed to appease the public . When oil prices rise, there’s a glut of money because they can sell at higher prices. But when oil prices fall, the budget for the massive welfare policies they were implementing becomes insufficient. And they implemented many policies that were extremely detrimental to the country’s corporate factories. For example, they implemented policies that allowed companies to sell at a lower price than the set selling price. While this might have been beneficial for ordinary citizens, it was incredibly detrimental to the companies themselves. Companies and factories were already leaving, forcing them to rely on imported goods. Up until then, things weren’t so bad. But now, after Mugo Chavez’s death, Nicolás Badro, his successor, implemented excessive populist policies, claiming to be following in his footsteps. He continued to spend money to win over the people. But how could they continue to do so when the country had no funds? The national debt continued to grow, and Nicolás Maduro recklessly printed money. The more money he printed, the less valuable it became, leading to rising market prices . Ultimately, it reached a point where even buying a single roll of toilet paper cost an enormous amount of money . My experience has been largely negative. It brought a lot of economy. Pretty much the price you see is the price you will play at that moment because the next day or even if you wait until the afternoon the price will change. So the money that you have devalues not by the day not by the but by the minute. If you don’t use your money uh really fast, whatever you want to buy will be automatically um more expensive. Yeah. It’s a hard way to uh save money. We call it it all becomes salt and water no matter. Yeah. 2015 and this is 2017. Right. Yeah. At the beginning, maybe in 2015 with this, go to the supermarket, buy protein, chicken. It’s not small. No, no, no. But by the end of 2017, this couldn’t buy you pack of cigarettes, some candy. Yeah. But this is bigger. Yeah, this is this is 10 times bigger. So that’s that’s the what inflation does to your currency. As I know there’s a souvenir made by this. Oh yeah, there’s people that because this became worthless. Yeah. They they started being creative with with the money and they started making paper bags. Here’s another bill. So 2017 and here you can also read siang me. So this is000 and this is but this is really000 100,000. Yeah. They were like Yeah. lazy they didn’t put the more zeros. And this happened in the same year and this you couldn’t buy half a piece of candy with this. Oh really? Yeah. It’s crazy. [Music] Ah, even though currency reform was implemented, it ended up failing. Inflation continued to rise, exceeding 100% in 2015 and reaching an absurd 65,000% in 2018. The population was around 30 million, but nearly 8 million people, equivalent to 1 in 100, ultimately left Venezuela. It’s truly heartbreaking. Venezuela is a prime example of a country that, despite being incredibly wealthy, can collapse in an instant due to government mismanagement . Fortunately, these days, regulations were in place, preventing people from purchasing dollars and other items, but things have improved significantly since those restrictions were eased. Hmm. I hope things get better. We should try it. Yes, there are a lot of those old cars. They could easily explode. Here on YouTube, YouTube , oh, it’s good to hide them on YouTube. Ah, hamburguesa enrollado hamburguesa. Here ‘s how [music] I want to give you famous from geumsias gesis oh mango just ah nonononono aura no aura wa they give you a ton of cheese jin gesis Oi. Ah, that’s right. [music] Hmm. There’s meat, ham, and cheese like this. [music] Hmm. How old are you? How old are you? DNA. Ah 18 18 tiktok YouTube tiktok [music] and salicante. Picante pic picao mucho. po [music] [music] The amount is huge. This can really replace a meal. [ music ] Wow , it’s so friendly, someone said it was a city to kill, so I think it’s the most wonderful city I’ve ever been to . It’s not a buffer report, but I love that when there’s no camera, when you wander around as a tripper, they greet faces that aren’t there. Seriously [music] Viva Venezuela. Ta-da, ta-da, ta-da. Hey, it’s got everything. You can even play table tennis. Do you love you? I like this place, and before traveling in a not-so- good area, it’s not famous for safety sometimes, but I just came here and I like this place so kind. Well, overall, people here are very kind, and even if people don’t speak English, they give you a hand. Yeah. Yeah. You can check a lot of different opinions, but it’s good to see people that come around here and shake the reality. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I like it. I like it. I like this. You have stuff with stuff that I agree with. Yeah. Right. [Music] On the way to than , I saw a McDonald’s, and it was a dollar or two. These kinds of manufactured goods or things that have to be imported are definitely expensive. If you go to places like McDonald’s, there are really hardly any people. At least there are some places like KFC. If you go a little outside the city, there’s a lot of trash and the odor is really bad. You can see a lot of abandoned buildings. Some of them are built on concrete , and I think it’s because the government is a bit negligent in managing them. Yeah. So, I took a tour of downtown Caracas, the city with the highest murder rate . From my perspective, it seems like a very safe and decent country. Although, there might be some issues if you go to a more dangerous area. Anyway, thank you for watching today’s video. I’ll go ahead and take a look. Thank you. Go ahead. Bye. [Music]
